Kaidi Mao Demonstrates The Zi Ran a Table

Kaidi Mao, the architect of the displayed work Zi Ran by Kaidi Mao explains, Living, like any living things, is a spontaneous process. The Chinese word for nature is Zi Ran, which means that the process happens of itself, not under control of any outside force. Kaidi Mao designed and made the table following this philosophy, without using any nails, screws or glue. Poplar was used as the material, due to the wood's properties, which are lightweight, particular veins and fresh color. The table is modern, steady and durable, but also flat packable, and can be assembled by one person without using any tools and hardwares..
