SciFest Los Angeles
SciFest Los Angeles is a festival identity system created for a hypothetical eight-day film festival devoted to science fiction movies. The program curates classic science fiction films from 1970 to 2017, covering sub-genres such as action, animation and mystery. A dimensional typeface, inspired by scenes of four dimensions, serves as the main visual language across all applications. The posters work with augmented reality, so viewers can explore their depth. The app and website interfaces use kinetic three-dimensional graphics.
SciFest Los Angeles Festival Identity System by Ching-Fa Lung was selected as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
