The Sun from the East
The Sun From The East is an event image design created for a design university. The sun is used as the main visual element, because the sun rises in the east and reflects both the name of the school and its steady yearly growth. Circles and other geometric figures form the basic elements, and the composition was changed through long testing. The design is applied to posters, books and invitation cards. Bright film and fog film were applied to selected areas during printing to highlight the graphics. The posters measure 70 by 100 centimeters.
The Sun from the East Event Image Design by TANG-HSUAN LIEN was highlighted as a grand example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. The Sun from the East Event Image Design earned the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that recognizes outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
