Imagination and Reality
This large window decal illustrates where reality and imagination merge to create an impression of an individual's life after a medical intervention. The illustration adheres to the glass on the inside of this impressive building, measuring over 10,000mm in height. This artwork was created with accessibility in mind. The artwork is installed in a window space because window spaces are accessible to view from outside the building. Therefore, members of the public who view the image can stay in their car to view the image should their physical limitations require them to do so.
Imagination and Reality Illustration by Ciara Chapman was selected as a grand example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Imagination and Reality Illustration earned the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2024. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award that celebrates outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
