Jiangxi Illustrated
Jiangxi Illustrated is a series of digital illustrations about the local culture of Jiangxi, China. The illustrations present regional landscapes, folklore and traditions in a modern visual style. Line drawings were drafted in Procreate, and coloring was completed in Photoshop. Each image measures 3600 by 3600 pixels at 300 dpi in RGB color. The series joins traditional cultural themes with contemporary illustration methods. The aim is to increase public appreciation of Jiangxi heritage and to support its preservation.
Jiangxi Illustrated Illustration by Wang Ying was highlighted as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Jiangxi Illustrated Illustration was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2024. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which rewards superior design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
