Blessing Gifts
Blessing Gifts is a red envelope design created for the Chinese New Year of the Monkey. The envelope is made of green paper and measures 85 by 165 millimeters. The illustration shows a monkey whose face is formed by a walking cloud, the cartoon character of an environmental education brand in Guangdong, China. The design name refers to a Cantonese expression that means very good. Slogans and illustrations combine New Year greetings with a call for environmental care. The envelopes were given free of charge to companies and to individuals.
Blessing Gifts Blessing Envelope by Weiquan Long was highlighted as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Blessing Gifts Blessing Envelope won the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2020. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a highly prestigious international design accolade which honors excellent design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
